Danny Cohen

President, Access Entertainment

Danny Cohen is the President of Access Entertainment, a division of Len Blavatnik's Access Industries.  

Danny is focused on delivering world-class entertainment and financing fast-growing businesses. He invests in a wide range of entertainment: feature films, television, live theatre, the creator economy, the visual arts and gaming.  

Access Entertainment’s corporate investments include film and television studio A24; Tripledot Studios - Europe’s fastest-growing company in 2023; creator economy leader Spotter; Theatre Royal Haymarket, one of the oldest London theatres still in use; and Lightroom, an immersive space for talent-led shows which was opened in collaboration with David Hockney.

Danny is an Executive Producer on a slate of films which includes the double-Oscar winning The Zone of Interest, Iron Claw, Bird, Beau Is Afraid and Conclave. The films he has invested in have starred some of the biggest names in cinema including Ralph Fiennes, Jeremy Allen White, Lily James, Zac Efron, Florence Pugh, John Lithgow and Stanley Tucci.  

Before joining Access, Danny was the Director of BBC Television where he had responsibility for all of the BBC's network channels and the greenlighting and production of the BBC's drama, entertainment, comedy, arts, history, science, educational content and documentary.
